What’s been happening:

Mark and Lyudmila Warchol own their own company, MFAW NDT, LLC (www.mfawndt.com) and are self-employed non-destructive testing (NDT) specialists where they consultant on the development, design, and implementation of inspection technology for aircraft materials. They work with material suppliers, universities, airframe manufacturers and equipment suppliers around the world to assure inspection equipment and procedures meet the design criteria of the airframe. Each worked for Alcoa Inc. for over 25 years as NDT specialists in the USA and Russia and has visited more than 30 countries for work and fun. They both hold masters degrees and have 5 patents between them. Mark and Lyudmila are active members of Rotary International (RI) contributing time and resources to help under-developed countries. Mark is a founding member of the Rotary International (RI) Paul Harris Society and is also is a multiple alumni of the Rotary Foundation. Mark has participated in 8 RI international medical missions in Ethiopia, Honduras, Brazil, Peru and Kenya, where he has been responsible for the technical support of the operating rooms, avoidable blindness (optician), installation of solar powered water wells and installation of x-ray and ultrasound systems in remote hospitals. Mark and Lyudmila will be heading to Ecuador in 2009 to support another RI avoidable blindness mission.
